Axe ad sets the pulses racing
Alpheus | Oct 10 2008

Axe deo and sensuality are never parted. The latest in the pulse-racing series is a naked hottie in white paint sprawled across an ice desert. And a disproportionately sized mountain climber marks his peak with a ’strategically’ placed flag. Now, finding ‘Axe’ in the entire setting requires a fair bit of squinting. Having said that, the purpose is served. The audience is already straining their eyes - not as much at the flag as at the naked nymph. Yet, we still know it’s ‘Axe’ at work and therefore, the ad sells.

Holy hell..Where is the ad? Why haven’t I seen it, besides the obvious, it is incredibly ingenius!!!

Hmmmm there’s a giggling little anti-feminist/pro-misogynist at the top of the AXE ad campaign and this one just puts the nail in the coffin. The only thing ingenius about this is that more than half of the audience will clearly miss the artist’s intended message.
