Latest Nielsen//NetRatings report has stated that BBC last month was clicked by more than 24.4 million visitors. As per popularity, it ranks 23rd worldwide.



Earlier a coalition of British newspapers has complained to British Government to stop funding its website. A part of the fund comes from a fee that is levied on British homes with a television. A section of the industry feels that thus it gets some unfair advantage in the internet-advertising domain.
