Centreforce: Ex-prisoners are family too
Balendu | Apr 22 2007

This is an integrated campaign launched about two years back by San Francisco and Oakland based Centreforce. Committed to social service programs, the organization launched this campaign with a view to make people think that a person after serving terms in Jail is still a part of society who is a member of a family as well. The campaign aimed at sinking disgrace of a jailed person by highlighting that these individuals have family members who are depending on them.

The campaign apparently urges people to provide them a respectable second chance in the folds of society. The presentation of the campaign is certainly not hard hitting but it compels to some extent to think in this regard. This campaign appeared on billboards, wallscapes, bus shelters, subway interiors, in print ads, web-banner ads, posters, and postcards and is still on-going. The campaign was developed by Better World Advertising.
