Click-o-Phobia: When online publishers fear to click adsense ads
Krish | Apr 29 2006

Google Adsense allows website publishers to place keyword specific ads on their websites and earn a profit of the revenue. Mostly these kind of advertising programs generate revenue on per click basis. Since Google and Yahoo and all who are running such programs make rules stringent enough to do away with any fraud, publishers, it seem try their best not to click on the ads on their website even by mistake. And over a period of time develop a phobia, called click-o-phobia. Thus resulting in not clicking on any adsense like program on any site. (They may not also like to let others earn dollars from their ads, after all they all are in the same boat, brother).

Why publishers (some) do not click on adsense ads. A good subject to conduct research at Google laboratory. Or, who knows may be they are doing it for long.

Interesting idea, I never knew click-o-phobia existed with publishers when it comes to other sites than their own.
