To challenge the dominance of Google, Yahoo and eBay have formed a partnership for online search and advertising. Under this partnership, Yahoo will exclusively provide eBay graphical ads and will promote eBay’s PayPal to its merchants and publishers.
Various media analysts do feel that this new deal may pose a threat to Google and Microsoft. This partnership will primarily deliver graphical ads and click-to-call ads. Along with that, it will also to some lesser extent will provide some search ads as well.
