Foster teaches barflies a lesson

This is something which is called ‘corporate social responsibility’ (corporate what?). well, at least, SABMiller India (Foster’s distributor) thinks so. Worried by the ‘drink and drive’ habits of the people, these responsible guys decided to do something.

The company distributed some magnetic coasters to more than 40 bars and restaurants in Indian cities with their Foster’s rounds. When one tries to place his/her mug (which had an opposite-polarity magnet in the base) on the sports car coaster, it slides away. After sometime the person can notice “Drinking & driving don’t mix” message on the mug.

This interesting corporate social responsibility move was a Cannes Bronze Lion winner.
