Mazda MX-5 ad: a 12-second adventure

The television commercial to promote Mazda MX-5 seems to be slightly bewildering, as the advertisement has just used the car to escape a weird location. However, setting aside the theme of the advertisement with specific relation to the product, the advertisement seems to be interesting. Moreover, the agency has attempted to create the advertisement on the theme, thriller. The execution of the idea seems to be limping a bit.

Seems to me that the focus of this ad is the speed at which the roof closes. 12 seconds? Not bad. :)
