More creative=more sexually active?

The creativity seems to act like a sexual magnet. That’s not our comment. (I don’t mind if people think we bloggers are creative enough to do the job ‘) British Psychologists at the University of New Castle upon Tyne and the Open University say so. They think that creativity linked to active sex lives and creative geniuses (like ‘hmmm’.lemme think ‘who else’ hehehe) have more sex than normal (and boring) people.

But like all good stuff, friends, this one also come with catches. Dr Daniel Nettle calls it double edged sword. He feels poets, artists, creative writers also have high rates of depression.

Nettle’s team has a sample of 425 persons, from both genders and it found out that creative people like artists and poets have between 4 and 6 sexual partners while a less creative as an average of three.

As the creative output went up average number of sexual numbers goes up.

“It could be that very creative types lead a bohemian lifestyle and tend to act more on sexual impulses and opportunities, often purely for experience’s sake, than the average person would,” says Nettle

I agree that creative people probably are more depressed just because they think differently than most people and their mind is in overdrive.
