Nintendo Gameboy Advance: Ultimate distraction
Balendu | Mar 13 2007

Nintendo
had launched this remarkable print advertisement in the year 2003 to promote its Gameboy Advance. The campaign aims at establishing that the game is so engrossing and compelling that their minds are not diverted in extreme cases while they are playing game. The advertisement has depicted some height moments of life like second coming of Jesus, blowing half body in a mine, fishes eating boy’s leg and all these incidents were ignored by the player.

The advertisement was not exactly based on a fresh and original idea but its presentation had surely made a difference. Nice execution and an exemplary piece of exaggeration of idea have surely helped the campaign to do wonders. The advertisement campaign was developed by Ogilvy & Mather.
