Save the Children: Some children have it harder than others
Balendu | May 4 2007

Save the Children, Spain, had launched this print advertisement campaign to create awareness among people to save children from unfair treatment in society. The campaign is evidently based on fairytales in order to emphasize the fact when children ought to be in fairy world, they are left to face unfair difficulties in the society. The advertisements are showing how fairytales turned into nightmares for the underprivileged children. The campaign aims to draw a real picture of children who are deprived of privileges and rights of normal children in our society.

The presentation of the campaign is not hard-hitting but it conveys its message in an effective manner. The treatment and execution of the idea for the campaign though have been considerably good but it certainly struggles to depict the real plight of those children. The text of the advertisement reads, ‘Some children have it harder than others’. The campaign was developed by Contrapunto, Barcelona.
