We have come across many campaigns and advertising efforts against smoking. Some Examples- smoker’s bed, passive smoking kills, smoking attacks you invisibly. Here is another advertising effort to create awareness among smokers. The effort is from confederacao portuguesa de prevencao do tabagismo, with the creative support of DDB Lisboa.
The print campaign has been developed as part of is National No Smoking Day which is on the 17th of November. The idea of comparing environmental hazards to smoking is relatively new and making sense.
The campaign features the dangerous threats to our planet and symbolically connects them to the ill effects of smoking.
It says- If you really want to save the planet’s life. Start with your own.
