Sony is scheduled to launch a brand new television advertisement for its Bravia line. The new Bravia televisions will now offer its consumers many alternate endings, which has been carefully planned to appeal to men and women independently. However, this facility will be available only to those who watch TV with a digital video recorder such as TiVo. This facility will enable the TV viewers to choose the ending according to their individual preferences.
Therefore, now onwards Sony’s latest advertisement will provide the viewers a different set of choices. Now people will not be required to do other activities such as sipping coffee or change the channel during commercial break.
The only thing I know about the Sony Bravia is that they play a stupid 10 second commercial like 500 times (give or take 490) during the C|Net video segments on my TiVo:
Bravia...
The...
First...
Television...
For...
Men...
And...
Women...
Trademark.
Yes they actually say ”Trademark” in the ad.
It’s annoying to the point where I am 100% confident that I’d never ever consider a Sony TV, when will people (advertisiers) learn that being memorable can be a bad thing?
