This festive season TV Radio Ad opposing Women and children abuse

Actress Daniela Nardini will support an advertising campaign through Radio and TV which will highlight psychological abuse suffered by women and their children. The adverts will show how a partner’s behavior may traumatize a woman and isolate her into a corner. Research says on average a woman is assaulted 35 times before she asks for help.



£300,000 worth this advertising campaign is announced by deputy communities minister Johann Lamont yesterday, reports DailyRecord.co.uk.



Lamont said: “Not all forms of domestic abuse show bruises but the damage can be just as savage and can run deeper.”



Though not on the same line I have found a print advertisement from POWA (People Opposing Women Abuse)with strong visual and equally robust message. It reads, If you have to force, it’s rape.



The visual is so strong, truly emotive. Look at the ragged magazine page. Look at it again. It’s not the usual V as victory rather M as in mortifying...
