TV industry ad campaign wants parents to control shows children watch

The United States Television industry to save the next generation from unwanted television content has asked the parents to take control of the situation. Recently Federal Communications Commission has lambasted broadcast television shows for its indecent and often offensive television programming. United States regulations bar radio and television broadcasters from airing indecent and sexually explicit material in the prime time.



The campaign is worth $300 million. The U.S television industry that is television broadcasters, cable operators, networks, satellite television and the consumer electronic industry all in this advertising campaign will tell American parents that they have the total power to control each and every hour of television programming that beams into their home.
