What is better than news?

Another piece of human interest story- on newspapers dilemma ‘to be or not to be’. Though the answer will be embarrassedly ‘to be’, the news starts there. Well, news is that the first page of Los Angels Times has been swallowed by Johny Depp, and the page was tuned to the whims and fancies of Alice in Wonderland.

The image of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, in the film “Alice in Wonderland,” occupies most of the paper’s cover page, superimposed over what looks like the usual, sober front page.

Well, let us examine more- It is said that the top editor of The Times, Russ Stanton, and several of his deputies vigorously opposed the ad before it was published, but they were overruled by the paper’s business executives.

Well, what doesn’t make sense to the brain may make sense to the stomach.

People are worried about what it does with the brand, the paper’s name one reporter says to NY TIMES.(on condition of anonymity indeed) On the other hand, it’s money that we badly need.

Another comment provides relaxing opportunities for a light smile.
John Conroy, a spokesman for The Times, said, Stretching the boundaries was what we were going for.

Haha
