World Wildlife Fund: The future is man made
Balendu | Jul 5 2007

World Wildlife Fund anticipating the future of this planet following the brisk pace of its destruction has launched this hard-hitting print advertisement campaign. The campaign aims to make people aware that if we continue with the present pace of environment destruction and various species getting extinct, the day is not far when we would witness man made environment and species. The advertisements are interestingly showing future man made environment where human kind has created artificial shrubs and trees on the planed and on the seabed.

One of the advertisements has gone on to depict artificial man made turtle coming out of the sea. The presentation of the campaign is indeed insightful and thought provoking but there was ample room to improve photography and art direction to make it more effective. The punch line of the campaign is, ‘The future is man made’. The campaign was created by Leo Burnett, Sydney, Australia.
